SHANGHAI, August 29, 2024-

Chinese nonwovens manufacturer Xinlong released its earnings results for the first half of 2024. Revenue dropped by 3.96% year on year to 251.51 million yuan ($35.3 million). Net profit attributable to owners of the parent fell by 267.65% to -12.37 million yuan. Net profit attributable to owners of the parent after deducing non-recurring profit and loss grew by 12.81% to -14.8 million yuan.

During the period under review, revenue of its nonwovens business fell by 7.19% to 146.81 million yuan, accounting for 58% of its overall revenue. Revenue of its spunlace nonwoven business dropped by 4.55% to 94.08 million yuan. Revenue of its spunmelt nonwoven business was 27.52 million yuan, down 17.9%.
