SHANGHAI, January 16, 2025-

According to reports of CNR News and Xinjiang Daily, a Reifenhäuser Reicofil 5 (RF5) spunmelt nonwoven machine was started up in Xinjiang Kaiwo Technology Co. in Urumqi of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, northwest China on December 28, 2024. The first batch of 500-tonne spunmelt nonwovens manufactured by this new SSMMMS machine will export to Central Asia for making baby diapers. Annual capacity of the RF5 machine is 20,000 tonnes.

According to the company, it will expand product portfolio in 2025 and will introduce wipes and baby diaper production lines to get more market shares in the Chinese domestic and Central Asian markets.
