TOKYO, August 8, 2024-

Unitika released its earnings results for the three months ended June 30, 2024, on August 6. Net sales grew by 9.7% year on year to 30.66 billion yen ($0.21 billion). Operating profit was 1.17 billion yen. Ordinary profit surged 250.5% to 2.67 billion yen. Profit attributable to owners of parent rose by 731.5% to 1.98 billion yen.

For the full fiscal year ending March 31, 2024, net sales are forecasted to be 120 billion yen, up by 1.7% year on year. Operating profit is forecasted to be -2.4 billion yen, ordinary profit to be -1.4 billion yen, profit attributable to owners of parent to be -2.2 billion yen.
