Unicharm posted its earnings results for the first nine months of 2024. From Jan. 1 to Sept. 30, net sales achieved a year-on-year increase of 5% to 722.05 billion yen ($4.71 billion). Core operating income grew by 11.7% to 103.59 billion yen. Profit attributable to owners of parent fell by 2.4% to 59.55 billion yen. Sales ratio of the overseas markets reached 66.4%, and sales ratio of the Asian markets was 44.9%.

According to the company, it is composed of three businesses, namely the “personal care” business, the “pet care” business and “other” business as its basic units, and has been engaged in its business activities by comprehensively developing domestic and overseas strategies by business unit.
