From Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2024, net sales of Unicharm achieved a year-on-year increase of 5% to 989 billion yen ($6.5 billion). Core operating income grew by 8.2% to 138.5 billion yen. Profit attributable to owners of parent fell by 4.9% to 81.8 billion yen.

According to the company, it is composed of three businesses, namely the “personal care” business, the “pet care” business and “other” business as its basic units, and has been engaged in its business activities by comprehensively developing domestic and overseas strategies by business unit.
