TOKYO, February 17, 2025-

For the three quarters ended Dec. 31, 2024, revenue surged by 5.2% compared with the same period of the previous fiscal year to 1,923.9 billion yen ($12,7 billion). Core operating income skyrocketed by 40.9% to 108.8 billion yen. Operating income jumped by 45.5% to 103.8 billion yen. Profit attributable to owners of parent grew by 64.6% to 74.2 billion yen.

In terms of its fibers & textiles segment, during the period under review, revenue achieved a year-on-year increase of 3.9% to 774.6 billion yen. Core operating income rose by 14.1% to 50 billion yen.
