TOKYO, August 7, 2024-

Toray Industries today released its earnings report for the three months ended June 30, 2024. Revenue grew by 10.3% compared with the same period of the previous fiscal year to 637.7 billion yen ($4.3 billion). Core operating income grew by 67.8% to 36.8 billion yen. Operating income jumped by 83.1% to 38.1 billion yen. Profit attributable to owners of parent surged 92.6% to 26.9 billion yen.

In terms of its fibers & textiles segment, during the period under review, revenue achieved a year-on-year increase of 9.4% to 244.8 billion yen. Core operating income rose by 35.7% to 14.8 billion yen.
