HALMSTAD, Sweden, December 18, 2024-

Nordifa AB, based in Halmstad, Sweden, has taken over the business of technical textiles company Sporda Nonwoven, also from Sweden, and saving a number of jobs in the town of Sporda, according to Nordifa on Dec. 13.

Sporda Nonwoven declared bankruptcy Nov. 18, had facilities in southern Värnamo, and will continue to be run as an independent company. Jonas Rylander together with Anna Hallberg will lead the business.
