Around 440 delegates flocked to INDA’s annual World of Wipes conference at in Chicago last week to discuss the latest trends in global wipes markets, with continued growth considered by most to be a safe bet.

Two themes emerged that represented a change in emphasis from past WOW events: the primacy of sustainability and related environmental issues as an area of both risk and opportunity, and the degree to which additives drive growth – and, in the specific case of preservatives, the threat to growth that could emerge if new options for wipes makers don’t continue to emerge.
