PPEs look like biggest growth sector for NW; several more nonwoven expansions unveiled

WILMOT, NH, September 24, 2020-

Dozens of new nonwovens lines have been added this year to serve markets for personal protective equipment (PPEs), between Europe and the United States, with far more than that being installed in China. Several more new machines have been announced this month, on three different continents.

Among them are a new spunmelt machine planned by Malaysia's Oceancash Nonwoven Sdn Bhd plus meltblown lines being added in France by Meltblo France and by US-based Lydall, in Norway by Naukatek, and in the Netherlands by a 50/50 joint venture of VDL Groep and Royal DSM.
