PFNonwovens reports 5% revenue rise for 2018; South Africa, Czech expansions near completion

CLOVERDALE, CA, April 18, 2019-

PFNonwovens a.s. grew its revenues last year by more than 5% while operating earnings jumped, according to preliminary unaudited results released at the end of last month. Meanwhile, a new spunmelt machine in South Africa and a semi-commercial line in the Czech Republic are expected to start up soon.

The announced results do not include the former First Quality Nonwovens (FQN) assets acquired by PFNonwovens’ parent company last year. The former FQN is privately held by the parent under separate ownership from the Czech-based company once known as Pegas Nonwovens.
