SHANGHAI, November 25, 2024-

According to China Nonwovens & Industrial Textiles Association (CNITA), China’s nonwovens and industrial textiles industry kept growth in the first three quarters of 2024. The market demand has been recovering continuously. Export has also been improving.

Compared with the first nine months of 2023, output of the Chinese nonwovens companies with sales volumes above 20 million yuan ($2.8 million) increased by 10.1%, according to China National Bureau of Statistics. Revenue of these companies grew by 3.5% year on year, and total profit rose by 28.5%. Gross profit margin was 2.7%, up 0.5 percentage points compared with the first nine months of 2023.
