SHANGHAI, August 1, 2024-

According to China National Bureau of Statistics, from January to May, output of the Chinese nonwovens companies with sales volumes above 20 million yuan ($2.8 million) achieved a year-on-year increase of 13%. Revenue of these companies rose by 4.4% year on year, and total profit grew by 23.7%. Gross profit margin was 2.4%, up 0.4 percentage points.

in the fields of filtration and geotextile, Revenue and total profit of companies with sales volumes above 20 million yuan jumped by 13% and 60.6% respectively. Gross profit margin of these companies was 7%, up 2.1 percentage points compared with the same period of 2023.
