Kimberly-Clark de Mexico 2Q19 results: sales 6.6% higher on price and mix; operating profit up 12.8% [Link]
SAO PAULO, July 22, 2019-
Kimberly-Clark de Mexico reported a 6.6% increase in net sales in the second quarter of 2019 compared to the same months of the previous year. Results were driven by an 8% positive price and mix comparison. Volumes were slightly down 1%.
Consumer product revenues increased 6%, Away from Home grew 6% and exports declined 3%. The decline in exports sales reflects more tissue sold domestically.
