K-C plants in Colombia that serve baby, fem hy and tissue sectors will be focus of more investments




WILMOT, NH, January 20, 2022-

Kimberly-Clark will invest more than $30 million in two of its three sites in Colombia this year, following an $81 million spending program that took place in 2020 and 2021.

The two K-C plants involved in the new plans are Papeles del Cauca, in Cali, and Tocancipá, in Bogotá. The Cali site make Huggies baby wipes along with Kleenex and Scott paper towels and toilet tissue, and will get $23 million in spending. The Bogotá facility produces Kotex pads and liners along with Huggies diapers; the company said it will spend $7.5 million on this plant’s “infrastructure”.
