K-C plans $40 million investment in Costa Rica hygiene products plant, Global Business Services Center




CORIS, COSTA RICA, September 10, 2019-

Kimberly-Clark announced it will invest more than $40 million in its Coris Mill production plant and Global Business Services Center in Costa Rica during a visit of Carlos Alvarado, President of the Republic. The investment will bring cutting-edge technology to its mill to support the increased production of its baby and child care and feminine care businesses, improve expansion at its national headquarters and Global Business Center, and support job creation in the country.

“This is a proud day for Kimberly-Clark, our country, and the communities we have called home for many years,” stated Gonzalo Uribe, Vice President for Kimberly-Clark’s North Latin America region. “This investment symbolizes the great history we have in Costa Rica, and our commitment to growing our business here.
