The International Sleep Products Association (ISPA), the trade association representing mattress manufacturers and component suppliers, has released its 2023 Mattress Industry Trends Report. The report publishes current and historical data on the mattress industry’s performance.

The 2023 Report combines market data for U.S.-produced mattresses and stationary foundations and imported mattresses and foundations. The report also shows updated research by ISPA’s Better Sleep Council that examines consumer behavior in the retail shopping experience. Data displayed includes triggers for mattress replacement, average purchase price and purchase history. The Mattress Recycling Council (MRC), highlights data concerning MRC’s mattress recycling and research efforts through 2023.
