SAN FRANCISCO, February 13, 2025-

International Paper (IP) has informed customers that it intends to increase fluff pulp prices by $30-50 per tonne, effective March 1 and until further notice, Fastmarkets has learned. IP, the world’s largest fluff pulp producer, is the first market pulp producer globally to announce a March price on any grade of pulp.

Memphis-headquartered IP announced a $50 per tonne list price increase on fluff delivered to North America and Europe, industry contacts said. IP also announced a “minimum” $30 per tonne net price increase in all regions.
