IDEA 2019 sets record for exhibit space; attendees abuzz over capacity, M&A and sustainability

CLOVERDALE, CA, April 11, 2019-

Rumors, growth, new products and the return to Miami Beach were big topics at last month’s IDEA 2019 show, but attendees say one subject found its way into almost every conversation: sustainability. Meanwhile, organizer INDA reported the event attracted 9% more display space than the most recent previous exhibition in the series, in Boston in 2016.

INDA also named the winners of the IDEA Achievement Awards, honoring companies in five categories in addition to the IDEA Lifetime Achievement Award, which went to Nice-Pak Products, Inc. president Robert Julius. According to INDA, “Julius was recognized for his lifetime commitment to research, quality, innovation, and service.”
