SAN FRANCISCO, December 9, 2022-

Overall nonwoven company financial results for the September 2022 quarter showed strong sales driven by price increases offset by lower profits mainly due to inflation and higher costs.

For seven US companies tracked, sales in 3Q 2022 totaling $30.7 billion were up 1.3% from a year ago and operating income was 2.7% lower at $5.9 billion. Lower operating income results included Honest Company, Glatfelter and Mativ.
