GREAT NECK, NY , October 15, 2024-

To support relief efforts following Hurricanes Helene and Milton in the Southeast United States, First Quality is donating $100,000 to the United Way Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund. The company has also donated more than 1,400 cases of paper towels and bath tissue and approximately 4,000 cases of baby diapers to emergency responders.

“First Quality has manufacturing operations in Anderson, South Carolina, which was one of many communities impacted by Hurricane Helene; and many of the 1,100 people we employ were impacted by the storms. While we are thankful that all of our local team members are safe, so many lives were turned upside down because of these storms,” said Jim Dodge, chief financial officer of First Quality. “We are grateful that the United Way is mobilizing critical resources and support to help the people who have been impacted by these devastating hurricanes, and we will continue to provide the much-needed support for our team members and communities.”
