CLOVERDALE, CA, October 18, 2018-

Fibertex Nonwovens is installing two new nonwoven production lines to expand its ability to provide specialty products to the filtration market, including one unit designed to manufacture fabric from nanofibers. The company also said it has invested in new lab facilities and converting and post-processing equipment to support the nanoproducts machine.

The location for the nanoproducts operation is at the company's plant in Denmark. Fibertex said the other machine, which it described as "a second nonwoven production line to manufacture specialized filtration substrate," will go into its Czech plant. A spokesperson declined to disclose the nonwovens technology for the second line.
