BARCELONA, February 18, 2020-

Miriam Guasch has been appointed director of operations for Essity Spain, the leading international hygiene and health company established in the country since 1998. Guasch joined Essity in 2000 and has since held positions of responsibility in different areas of the company. More recently, she has been responsible for the plant that the company has in Navarra and responsible for initiatives and projects for Spain, during which she has managed different digitalization developments aimed at improving the efficiency of the processes and training of the equipment.

With studies in Economics and Business, Guasch has a degree in Supply Chain Management from the ICIL Foundation. With almost 20 years of experience in the hygiene and paper industry, Guasch has developed her career at Essity where she has held positions of responsibility in different areas of the company, from the financial department to logistics or operations.
