SAN FRANCISCO, December 2, 2024-

Domtar informed North American and European customers that its fluff pulp list price would increase to $1,865/tonne, effective December 1 until further notice, industry contacts told Fastmarkets. The firm also is pursuing a $20/tonne price increase in net markets globally.  

Domtar did not state how much its fluff list price increase is to increase in mature markets. The firm’s December $1,865/tonne list is $50/tonne above November’s effective list price of $1,815/tonne, which closed down $10/tonne, according to Fastmarkets’ PPI Pulp & Paper Week.
