SAN FRANCISCO, January 19, 2022-

Domtar announced a $65/tonne list price increase to North American buyers of three key grades of market pulp, effective February 1 until further notice, industry contacts told Fastmarkets. The firm also slated a second straight fluff pulp hike in Europe and emerging markets.

Fort Mill, SC-headquartered Domtar set a $65/tonne domestic increase on benchmark northern bleached softwood kraft (NBSK) as well as southern bleached softwood kraft (SBSK), according to North American market participants.
