TOKYO, Japan, November 18, 2024-

For the six months ended Sept. 30, 2024, Daio Paper’s net sales increased by 0.7% 333.7 billion yen ($2.16 billion). Operating profit fell by 50.1% to 3.7 billion yen. Ordinary profit dropped by 83.9% to 0.9 billion yen. Profit attributable to owners of parent was -3.5 billion yen.

During the period under review, net sales of its home and personal care business segment rose by 3.1% year on year to 148.8 billion yen. Operating profit was -0.2 billion yen.
