TOKYO, August 9, 2024-

On August 9, Daio Paper posted its earnings results for the three months ended June 30, 2024. Its net sales increased by 2.6% compared with the same period of the previous fiscal year to 166.26 billion yen ($1.13 billion). Operating profit fell by 29.3% to 1.97 billion yen. Ordinary profit dropped by 23.1% to 2.05 billion yen. Profit attributable to owners of parent was -1.08 billion yen.

During the period under review, net sales of its home and personal care business segment rose by 6.4% year on year to 72.9 billion yen. Operating profit was 0.1 billion yen.
