By December, the price peaked at 4070 USD/MT, reflecting a robust market driven by strong domestic demand and limited supply. This increase was further fueled by unpredictable weather patterns affecting crop yields in key cotton-growing regions. The U.S. market also witnessed heightened competition for high-quality cotton, contributing to price volatility. Export demand from textile industries added upward pressure on prices, making the U.S. one of the leading global markets for premium-grade cotton during this period.
