
Construction progress of TDF Saudi Arabian plant reaches 30% this month
DAMMAM, Saudi Arabia, May 28, 2025-
Nonwovens Markets reported in February that China’s nonwovens and industrial textiles manufacturer TDF kicked off construction of its plant in Dammam, Saudi Arabia on Feb. 9. According to update of TDF, the construction progress of the plant has reached 30% in May. The plant is expected to be put into operation in December 2025. The Middle East subsidiary has the first overseas plant of TDF, which marks a big step of its ‘going overseas’ strategy, according to the company.
According to plan, construction of the main body of steel-structure workshop is scheduled to be initiated in May. In June, the customized machines will be delivered and shipped from China. Core equipment will be installed at the end of July. Equipment tests are expected to be completed at the end of November. The plant will be officially put into operation at the end of December.
