Companies with ties to wipes, PPEs continue to see revenue gains, but future remains uncertain

WILMOT, NH, February 18, 2021-

Nonwovens companies that supply materials for wipes and facemasks continued to experience a boost to earnings from those markets in the most recent quarter, according to their latest financial reports. Some other end-uses such as tabletop products were not doing well given pandemic-related restrictions on travel and restaurant dining, but most nonwovens companies have other market areas that can help them to offset those challenges.

At the same time, executives generally cautioned that the exit from the pandemic has the potential to shake up the outlook for various products, making the next year or more hard to predict.
