On the afternoon of the first Friday of 2025, China National Household Paper Industry Association (CNHPIA) held an online sharing conference in Douyin and WeChat platforms with video presentations to conclude the year 2024. Presentations on the topics of Chinese hygiene market, the Japanese hygiene market etc. have been shared with the online netizens.  

According to CNHPIA, more hygiene products with new materials and designs have been launched in the Chinese market in 2024, to offer new products with better performances and functions. As for nonwovens, the 0.8-denier and 0.6-denier airthrough-bond nonwovens have been in commercial production. The 0.9-denier spunbond nonwoven has been developed successfully. The post processing techniques of airthrough-bond nonwoven have also been improved. In addition, bio-based materials for super absorbent polymer (SAP) have been developed in China.
