Circular economy, M&A, inco are among sources of possible growth discussed in Berry results call
CLOVERDALE, CA, February 7, 2019-
Berry Global continues an apparently inexorable growth path, perceiving opportunities even in some areas of uncertainty. That seems to be the picture outlined by CEO Thomas Salmon in the analyst call discussing Berry’s most recent quarterly results, featuring sharp increases in net sales and operating results on the part of its nonwovens-producing Health, Hygiene & Specialties (HH&S) group.
Among the highlights of the call were discussions of the impact of its Clopay acquisition on results, the company’s decision to respond to growing environmental issues with plastics by joining a new organization to fight plastic waste, and the different trendlines seen in the diaper and adult incontinence sectors.
