CLOVERDALE, CA, June 13, 2019-

China is far from being the world’s biggest market for medical nonwovens, but it may be the fastest growing market. Growth trends and product evolution were discussed in a trade fair and related forums held in Shanghai last month, while numerous new products from Chinese and foreign suppliers were on display.

From May 14 to 17, China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF) was held in Shanghai, attracting more than 4,300 companies from 36 countries and regions. Exhibitors, most of them Chinese, displayed surgical gowns, drapes, masks, drapes, hats, and wipes made from spunbond, spunlace and other nonwoven fabrics, reflecting the present development of nonwovens used in the Chinese medical care market.
