Big World of Wipes audience gets a good look at what the market might look like after pandemic is over

WILMOT, NH, July 29, 2021-

For the first time in a year and a half, a major nonwovens industry conference took place in-person outside of China, and the attendance numbers indicate it was a big success: World of Wipes (WOW) organizers said about 475 people were signed up. And they faced a full agenda, including presentations on single-use plastics and sustainability, flushability, product innovations and what a "new normal" might look like for the wipes business after COVID.

With the Delta variant spreading aggressively through world populations it may be premature to do more than speculate about life after the virus, but speakers offered a number of thoughts. Observers said many delegates seemed to feel that demand levels were returning to normal after a period of unprecedented growth.
