Autoneum sees slow rebound in auto market, but coming swing to BEVs should drive growth

WILMOT, NH, November 18, 2021-

Auto parts manufacturer Autoneum, battered along with the rest of the sector by plant shutdowns caused by efforts to slow the spread of COVID and then by a silicon chip shortage, mapped out a route back to prosperity for both itself and the auto market. In the Swiss company’s view, the rebound will be slow but will be followed by interesting new opportunities as markets shift toward battery electric vehicles (BEVs).

In a presentation given to financial analysts and the media on November 4, Autoneum said it expects “a profitable revenue growth at market level in the medium term.”
