CLOVERDALE, CA, September 15, 2016-

Following months of rumors about its intentions, Italy’s Union Industries announced that it will install a new Reicofil spunlaid machine at its facility in the south-central Polish city of Radomsko. The two-sentence announcement said the machine will make specialty nonwovens for hygiene and medical end-uses and will begin producing during the fourth quarter of 2017.

The company expanded into Poland in 2015 with the startup of a new 3.2 meter Reicofil 4s SSMMS unit with nameplate capacity of 15,000 tonnes.
