Sales of made-in-Japan diapers seen as booming in China [From the web]

TOKYO, May 22, 2017-

In the disposable diaper section of an upscale supermarket in Shanghai, China, a large array of Japan-manufactured products are lined up, including Unicharm Corp.’s Moony line of diapers. In many cases, the package design is the same as in Japan.

Fang Liyuan, a 30-year-old mother in Shanghai raising an 8-month-old daughter, uses Japanese-made disposable diapers. Fang explains, “The diapers are very absorbent, preventing leaks even when my daughter has an upset stomach, and they’re also smooth and gentle on her skin.”
