BRUSSELS, April 13, 2017-

A consortium of private equity companies has offered some SEK 200 billion ($22.23 billion) for the SCA’s hygiene division, according to the Swedish daily Dagens Nyheter (DN).

In February, Swedish media sources reported that the Swedish financial firm Skandia and the Finnish investment advisory and fund management firm Dasos were planning a bid for SCA’s other division – the Forest business – which includes forest land, paper production for packaging and print and pulp, solid wood products and renewable energy production.
