Kimberly-Clark de Mexico 2Q 2017 results: sales up 8.8% on better pricing and volume [Link]
OAKLAND, CA, July 24, 2017-
Kimberly-Clark de Mexico reported net sales rose 8.8% in the second quarter from a year ago to Peso 9.6 billion, a new quarterly record, driven by better pricing, mix, and volume. Operating profit declined 12.6% to Peso 1.79 billion, mainly reflecting increased raw materials and energy costs.
Year-to-date sales were up 9% to Peso 19.1 billion with operating profit down 11.7% to Peso 3.6 billion.
