CLOVERDALE, CA, May 25, 2017-

Late this year Italy’s Tessiture Pietro Radici (TPR) will start up a new 3.2 meter Faré spunbond line in Gandino, near Bergamo, with the intent to strengthen the company’s position in construction and agriculture markets, according to the Radici Group subsidiary. The 6,000 tonne machine will raise the plant’s capacity to 18,000 tonnes.

According to the company, the Euro 10 million project will result in the creation of about 20 new positions in addition to the facility’s existing workforce of 130. The plant currently operates two spunbond machines.
