Transport end-uses for nonwovens to continue driving growth in demand – INDA

CLOVERDALE, CA, April 16, 2015-

Nonwoven materials are being used in various transportation applications at a rapidly growing rate - in fact, the end-use area was the fastest growing sector of the overall industry in 2008-2013 and it figures to repeat that record in 2013-2018, according to INDA's new North American Nonwovens Industry Outlook 2013-2018.

The industry association has fine-tuned its end-use groupings since it last published its outlook study, in 2011. "This recent study is the most comprehensive study of the North American market accomplished by INDA. The report now includes a Macro-Drivers and Industry Assumptions section, as economic and demographic trends are the significant drivers of demand within the North American nonwovens industry," said Brad Kalil, Director of Market Research and Statistics at INDA.
