PG starts rolling out Always Discreet product line in US market; uses airlaid absorbent layers

CLOVERDALE, CA, August 21, 2014-

Trucks are rolling, store shelves are being stocked and competitors are busily testing samples: Procter & Gamble has begun the process of introducing its light incontinence products to US women. Customers in France, Belgium and the Netherlands seem to be next in line in the P&G campaign.

The Always Discreet products come in three forms: pads, liners and underwear. An industry expert examined the pads for Nonwovens Markets and confirmed that the absorbent material is airlaid, and speculated based on the product itself and P&G's history that the airlaid layers were supplied by Glatfelter.
