P&G opens Beijing Innovation Center




BEIJING, August 18, 2010-

The inauguration ceremony for the new site of P&G Beijing Innovation Center was held today at Tianzhu Industrial Park in Shunyi District, Beijing. Relying on more advanced facilities and an enviroment more conducive to innovation, the P&G Innovation Center, built at the new location, is expected to be one of P&G's few innovation centers which support its global business especially in those emerging markets.

Robert A. McDonald, Chairman and President and CEO of P&G; Bruce Brown, CTO of P&G; Xia Zhanyi, Vice Mayor of Beijing; Wang Chao, Vice Minister of Ministry of Commerce; government officials of Shunyi district as well as representatives from media, suppliers, innovation partners and P&G staff attended the ceremony, witnessing a new beginning for P&G's research and development efforts.
