CLOVERDALE, CA, March 5, 2015-

Germany's huge Freudenberg Group made news at both the operational and organizational levels in December of last year and January 2015, starting up a new machine in Brazil in late 2014 and then combining two of its nonwovens businesses into a new grouping effective January 1.

Freudenberg's new carded nonwovens line in Jacarei, Brazil began running on schedule during the fourth quarter of 2014, a spokesperson confirmed. The new machine, located at the company's plant in Sao Paolo state, made its first market sales in December 2014.
