CLOVERDALE, CA, October 23, 2014-

Fitesa will build a new spunmelt plant in the city of Cosmopolis, Brazil, with a 20,000 tonne nonwovens line scheduled to start production in the first quarter of 2016, the Simpsonville, South Carolina-based company said this week. It will also expand its plant in Peru.

Meanwhile, the company's planned new spunmelt line in Norrkopping, Sweden is on schedule for a startup late in the first quarter of 2015, and a new spunmelt machine will come on-stream as scheduled in Simpsonville next month.
